Kelly Reyna

Kelly J. Reyna is a professional artist who specializes in oil paintings, portrait work, and murals. Born and raised in West Texas, Kelly grew up admiring the works of Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keefe, and the Old Masters. Like O’Keeffe and Kahlo, Kelly is inspired by the harsh realities of our surrounding landscape and history, taking notes of color palette and texture and weaving them into meaningful visual portraits. Adding to that, Kelly indulges in hinting at the power of the female archetype and iconographic symbolism that opens the pathways to myth and folklore. Because, like a good myth, a painting can inspire hope in the darkest of times, and it can remind us to dream just a little more vividly.
