Mohammed Al-Sadoun

Mohammed Al-Sadoun is an Iraqi American artist and art historian. Al-Sadoun’s work often explores political and social issues and human rights. He is known for using a variety of media, including sculpture, painting, and found objects, to convey his ideas. He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad, and the University of Baghdad earned his PhD from Ohio State University. Al-Sadoun’s work is characterized by its bold and commanding nature, often incorporating found objects and mixed media techniques. He has participated in numerous art exhibitions in Europe, Japan Middle East, and the USA. He taught art in several institutions in the USA and the Middle East.
